Your First Room

Now that you're set up, let's find or create your first chatroom!

What is a Room?

A room is a chatroom dedicated to a specific Pump.fun token. Each room shows:

• Token information (name, ticker, image)

• Real-time chat messages

• Room members

• Community features (polls, giveaways, etc.)

Finding a Room

Method 1: General Chat

When you first enter PumpCord, you'll see the General Chat room. This is a default room for general discussions about crypto, trading, and Pump.fun.

Method 2: Search by Token Address

1. Look for the "Create Room" or "Join Room" button

2. Enter a token contract address (the address of a Pump.fun token)

3. If the room exists, you'll join it

4. If it doesn't exist, you'll be prompted to create it

Method 3: Use the Chrome Extension

If you're using the Chrome extension on Padre.gg or Axiom.trade:

• The extension automatically detects the token you're viewing

• The corresponding chatroom loads automatically

• No need to search!

Creating a New Room

If a room doesn't exist for a token you're interested in, you can create it:

1. Click "Create Room" or "New Room"

2. Enter the token contract address

3. The system will automatically fetch token information

4. Click "Create" to finalize

Note: You become the owner of any room you create, giving you special permissions.

Room Features

Once you're in a room, you can:

• 💬 Chat with other members

• 👥 See who's online

• ⭐ Favorite the room for quick access

• 📊 View token information

• 🎉 Create polls and giveaways (if you're the owner)

Your Room List

On the left sidebar, you'll see:

• Favorites - Rooms you've favorited

• Joined Rooms - All rooms you're a member of

• General Chat - The default general discussion room

Tips

• ⭐ Favorite rooms you visit frequently

• 🔍 Search for tokens by their contract address

• 👀 Browse the room list to discover new communities

• 🚀 Create rooms for tokens you're passionate about
